The Little Prince

The Little Prince tells the story of a pilot stranded in the Sahara Desert who meets a young prince from asteroid B-612. The prince left his home after a quarrel with his beloved rose, visiting six asteroids where he encountered eccentric adults—a king, a vain man, a drunkard, a businessman, a lamplighter, and a geographer. On Earth, he befriends a fox who teaches him that "one sees clearly only with the heart; what is essential is invisible to the eye." The prince realizes his rose is unique because of the care he gave her, and ultimately returns to his planet to protect her.‌‌‌
